At the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation, we believe that ‘The Right To See’ is a basic human right.

Our team is committed to ensuring access to quality vision care for everyone in Europe and the Middle East. We focus on establishing sustainable eye care services, providing free glasses and eye screenings, and prioritizing advocacy and awareness on the necessity for vision care. Together with our partners, we are dedicated to eliminating uncorrected poor vision across the region.

What does ‘The Right To See’ Look Like to Frédéric Corbasson?

The European and Middle Eastern region covers territories that are very diverse in terms of access, awareness and affordability.
Although most areas benefit from decent healthcare systems, we still encounter populations who are being underserved: unhoused individuals, refugees, students in need and more.
Everyone deserves ‘The Right To See’ – good vision allows people to learn, find a job, have a better quality of life and so much more.
In our region, the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation focuses primarily on underserved populations that are referred to us via local NGOs. From there, we organize vision clinics to perform eye exams and offer free eyeglasses.
Last year, over 100,000 people in our region benefited from vision care services. This not only had a significant impact on the recipients but also greatly motivated our colleagues who participated.
I am very honored to work for EssilorLuxottica: a company that really cares and invests in those in need.
